White Horse Winery
Our Wine
|
The
White Horse Winery is very famous for its unique taste. People around
the world come here to enjoy the fresh taste of our wine. We provide
our customers with various kinds of wine. Our favourite wines are Merlot, Cabernet, Zinfandel, Pinot Grigio and also Fume Blanc.
You are free to try them out any time.

Merlot
is by nature softer than Cabernet, which is the problem with most low-priced
Merlots: they're limp to the point of being flaccid. Our Vintners Blend
bucks this trend, adding the structure of French oak to the early-maturing
appeal of the varietal. Merlot's opulent fresh-plum persona is here
enhanced by notes of tobacco, leather, and vanilla, providing a multidimensional
mouthful that doesn't pander to undiscriminating palates.

Cabernet
- More than any of the other Vintners Blends, this one over-delivers
for its price.
Lately a lot of well-made Cabernet has been available on the inter-winery
market, but for all the varietal's desirability and prestige, Joel thinks
the Cabernet Sauvignon grape has a select range of attractive flavors.
He tends towards currants and cassis in putting together this version,
which is dark and rich with background notes of black cherry and green
pepper.

Zinfandel
- If you set out to create a classic California Zinfandel, you couldn't
do better than this wine — probably White Horse's
single best-known bottling. Made with grapes from every traditional Zin-growing
area in the state, it's redolent with the varietal's trademark raspberry-and-spice
character. In especially ripe years, blackberries and black
cherries tend to come forward, while cooler vintages show more charming
red-fruit character.

Pinot
Grigio - This wine exudes "celebration." Light
and refreshing, the 2002 Mosby Pinot Grigio delights with the aromas
of ripe pear, tropical fruit, and vanilla bean. The crisp,
citrusy taste is followed by a surprisingly dry, clean finish with
an element of wet stone. Historically, Pinot Grigio originates from
the Fruili-Venezia Guilia of Italy.The

| Fume
Blanc - When it came to crafting a crisp, refreshing Fumé Blanc for the 2003 vintage, Ferrari-Carano
found that three appellations were better than one. Our 2003 Fumé Blanc
reveals a marriage of complementary flavors from the Russian River,
Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys. A wine this balanced is the result
of extensive experimentation and thoughtful winemaking. |
